- Describe the CAOHC curriculum and use of CAOHC's teaching tools and examination protocols.
- Define physics and noise measurement terms and explain key concepts that need to be presented as part of a course curriculum.
- Demonstrate and teach the correct use of an otoscope and earlite for inspection of the ear and ear canal for fitting of hearing protectors and conducting audiometric testing.
- Demonstrate and teach the proper fitting of several hearing protection devices and outline procedures to facilitate the process
- Apply training formats and motivational strategies that contribute to a successful hearing conservation course.
- Develop effective promotional materials to market a course.
- Explain the impact of OSHA, MSHA and FRA on the development of occupational hearing conservation programs to reduce noise induced hearing loss.
