- Revising baselines
- Determining work-related hearing change
- Become familiar with the federal standards and regulations that apply to hearing conservation programs
- Understand the pathophysiology of noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), and interactions between noise and other agents.
- Identify the medical and legal aspects of managing audiometric monitoring components of an OHCP.
- Recognize "best practices" of OHCP management, including essential elements of a quality hearing conservation program, program audits, evaluations and resources.
- Differentiate between regulatory compliance and "best practices " for prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.
