Anatomy, Physiology and Diseases of the Ear

Dear Instructor,

This curriculum has been designed for CAOHC Certified Course Directors as a portion of a 20-hour course leading to the certification of technicians for audiometric testing in industry. These materials may also be utilized in educational venues other than for CAOHC Certification. No CAOHC course requirements need to be met in those settings. The footage is approximately 20 minutes in length. If you are using this curriculum to meet CAOHC requirements and are a CAOHC Course Director, you must augment the media portion of this curriculum to the required time allocation of 60 minutes. The enclosed auxiliary materials are designed to serve that purpose. You may use any or all of the materials included as long as the presentation time meets the 60 minute requirement when using this curriculum as substitution for an otolaryngologist.
