Workplace Noise: Measurement and Controls Video

CAOHC Course Directors can use this video as a substitute for outside faculty in teaching the OHC certification course! It was engineered with the Noise Measurement and Physics of Sound portion of the course in mind. (Please consult the CD policies to be sure all requirements are met.)

Industrial hygienists and safety managers can use this video as a tool to help train employees about the hazards of workplace noise and overexposure. It can also be used to train new personnel as well as for safety presentations to employees who have been on the job for a while.

Professional supervisors can use this video to encourage mindful actions at all levels of business, and it can be run in a waiting area to keep noise hazards top-of-mind.


This video is comprised of six sections. These sections can be viewed as one 40 minute continuous video or in 5-7 minute individual segments.
