Why Should I Become a Course Director?

Why should I become a Course Director?

The Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) credentials professionals who train and certify occupational hearing conservationists (COHCs).  These professionals are known as Course Directors (CDs). Individuals seeking the credential must meet the requirements outlined in the Course Director section.

Being a CD and offering CAOHC approved OHC training courses will give you the opportunity to promote a high standard of practice in hearing conservation. Depending on your employment situation, providing courses may also offer an additional source of income.
