Chair's Message - Winter 2012

Madeleine J. KerrI am looking forward to working with all of you as Chair of the CAOHC Executive Committee. It has been my pleasure to serve on the council the past 6 years as a representative of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses. The mission of CAOHC is critical to achieving our current national goals to prevent noise-induced hearing loss and we are well positioned with solutions. I have always appreciated the interdisciplinary team approach to hearing conservation, from my early years as a school nurse overseeing hearing screenings to my current role as a researcher in occupational hearing loss prevention. For this reason, I value all contributors to our CAOHC mission and plan to celebrate and build on our interdisciplinary strengths. It is my honor to serve as Chair among the dedicated professionals representing 9 organizations committed to preventing occupational hearing loss. See you in the next CAOHC Update newsletter!

Best regards,
Madeleine J. Kerr, PhD, RN
