The COHC Exam Prep tool is intended to supplement a live CAOHC-approved Occupational Hearing Conservation (OHC) training course and help OHC students prepare for the CAOHC OHC Certification exam. 

Activities in the COHC Exam Prep tool cover the domains and associated tasks found in the OHC Exam Content Outline. OHC course participants may find this tool helpful as a way to review or reinforce the material covered in the live OHC training course. Course Directors can use this tool to supplement or emphasize their OHC course material.

The COHC Exam Prep too was created by CAOHC’s OHC/CD Committee, a working group of active and highly experienced Course Directors. Although the group did not have access to any of the OHC standardized exam content, they did review the Job Task Analysis (JTA) and exam content outline to provide both the CD and the aspiring OHC a measure of guidance and focus in preparation for the standardized exam.

Usage of any exam preparation materials provided by CAOHC is optional, and all materials are separate from the certification exam. These exam preparation materials are not the only or preferred route to adequate preparation and their use does not imply advantage or successful passing performance on any examination. This resource is intended to be a resource and will not guarantee the user will pass the exam.

Purchase Information

Purchases are made from our secure website by credit card. The COHC Exam Prep tool can be purchased in two ways:

  • If you are purchasing the COHC Exam Prep tool for yourself, you will automatically be sent an email with instructions to login and can access this resource right away.
  • If you are purchasing this for a group of people to access at a later date, you will be sent an email with voucher codes that can be distributed to OHC course participants to allow them to access this resource at a later date at no cost to the individual redeeming the voucher. The COHC Exam Prep tool will be accessible for 60 days after redeeming the voucher code.
